Yam's does not collect any personal data. The app is a dice game (yatzy) that requires no account and never identifies the user. Your settings and your progress are stored exclusively on your device.
The app does not transmit any personal data to our servers or to third parties. No account, no cloud, no synchronization of your information. The game works 100% offline. The only third-party service involved is Google Play, and only if you choose to make the one-time purchase described below.
You do not need to create an account to use Yam's. We do not ask for an email, name, phone number, or any other identifying information.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising tracking SDKs, no advertising identifier, no analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.), and no user behavior measurement tools.
The app offers a one-time purchase (no subscription) to unlock the full version. This purchase is handled entirely by Google Play (Google Play Billing): we never see, receive or store any payment data — no card number, no identity, no billing address. The only effect inside the app is a "purchased" flag stored locally on your device, which also lets you restore your purchase after a reinstall. Google's processing of the payment is governed by Google's privacy policy.
The app requests no sensitive Android permission: no location, no contacts, no
photos, no microphone, no camera, no shared storage. The only permissions declared come from the Google Play billing module: com.android.vending.BILLING, required for the one-time purchase described above, plus INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, which that module adds automatically to talk to the Play Store. The game itself never opens a connection: without a purchase, the app uses none of the three.vending.BILLING), required
for the one-time purchase described above.
Your settings and your progress are stored locally by the app (built with Flutter) using Hive, a local database kept in a private file that the system reserves for the app and that no other app can access. Specifically, it holds:
This data never leaves your device.
You remain in full control of your data. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything it stored on your device. On Android you can also use Settings → Apps → Yam's → Storage → Clear data. Your one-time purchase stays attached to your Google Play account and can be restored after a reinstall.
Yam's is aimed at an adult audience and does not specifically target children. The game has no player-to-player communication, no advertising, and asks for no personal data, whatever the age of the person playing.
We hold no data about you: there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. The only data that exists is the data that stays on your device, and it is yours to manage. For payment-related data, please contact Google Play, the only party that processes it.
This policy may be updated if the app changes significantly. If a future version were to add anything that collects data, this page would be updated before that version goes live. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
