Bon séjour collects no personal data. There is no server, no account, no sign-up. Everything you enter — properties, cards, steps, access codes (wifi, key safe, alarm), photos, translations — is stored in the app's private memory on your phone, in a local Hive database.
Photos you add to a card are picked from your gallery, taken with the camera, or imported from your files. They are copied into the app's private storage and used only to compose the printable booklet. No photo is ever sent anywhere.
The app can dictate the steps of a card. The microphone is active only during dictation, at your explicit request, and no audio recording is kept.
By default, speech recognition is forced offline: transcription is performed by the speech engine installed on your phone and the audio does not leave the device. If offline recognition does not respond, the app tells you and lets you choose: retry, check the Android settings, or switch to online dictation. It never switches on its own.
If you enable online dictation, what you dictate is passed to the Google speech recognition service installed on your phone, which applies its own privacy policy. The entry screen then says so explicitly ("Dictée envoyée à Google"), and the setting can be turned off at any time from the assisted translation screen.
The app makes only one kind of connection, and only if you explicitly ask for it: downloading a translation model from the Hugging Face platform (huggingface.co).
Like any Internet request, this download exposes your IP address to Hugging Face and its content delivery network, which apply their own privacy policies. No content from your cards is transmitted: the request contains only the file being asked for. Once the model is installed, translations are computed on your phone, with no connection.
The A4 booklet is generated on the device, then handed to Android's print or share system. What you do with it afterwards is your choice and depends on the apps you select.
The app contains no advertising, no ad SDK, no advertising identifier, no analytics, and no automatic crash reporting. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.
If you change phone or uninstall the app, your booklets do not follow. That is the accepted consequence of everything above.
Long-press a property card, then "Supprimer". To erase everything: uninstall the app, or clear its data from Settings › Apps › Bon séjour › Storage. There is no request to send us: we have access to nothing.
The app is aimed at adults who rent out a home. It does not target children and does not knowingly collect any data concerning them.
This policy may be updated if the app changes significantly. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
