Privacy Policy — Rayon

Rayon is an optical puzzle game published by Hugo Ferreira, distributed on Google Play under the identifier `com.hfc.rayon_jeu`.

In one sentence

Rayon does not collect any personal data. The game runs offline, with no account and no sign-up. There is nothing to buy: extra hints are obtained by watching a short video, if you wish to. These videos are provided by Google AdMob, the only component of the app that connects to a server — and only at the moment you request a video.

What the app stores

Rayon stores two things, on your device only, in the app's private storage:

Your progress: completed levels, stars earned, remaining hints, last level played.
Your settings: sounds, music, vibration, reduced motion, patterned targets, language.

This information never leaves your phone. It is neither transmitted, nor backed up online, nor accessible to the publisher. It disappears when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

What the app does not do

No personal data collected: no name, no email address, no phone number, no contacts, no photos, no location.
No forced advertising: no banner, no ad screen between levels or at launch. A video plays only if you tap “Watch a video” yourself.
No audience measurement, analytics or crash reporting tool.
No sharing of your progress or your settings with anyone.
No sensitive Android permission requested.

Rewarded advertising

Rayon sells nothing. Extra hints are obtained by watching a short video — and the game can be completed entirely without watching a single one.

These videos are provided by Google AdMob. When you request one, AdMob may read or receive:

your device's advertising identifier, a number you can reset or delete at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads;
technical information about the device and the connection (model, Android version, language, approximate IP address), required to deliver the video;
interaction data about the video (shown, watched to the end, closed).

This data is processed by Google, not by the publisher: Rayon does not see it, does not store it and has no access to it. Its processing is governed by Google's privacy policy and the AdMob policies.

If you never request a video, no advertising connection takes place.

Children

Rayon is not specifically directed at children, but its content is suitable for all audiences. Since no data is collected, no children's data is collected either.

Your rights

As no personal data is collected or held outside your device, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete from the publisher. You retain full control of the local data: it is erased from the app's Android settings, or by uninstalling it.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published at this address, with a new update date. Should a future version of Rayon collect data, this page would be updated before that version is released.
