This policy applies to the Android app Penderie (com.hfc.penderie), published on Google
Play by PIXELMORE (Hugo Ferreira).
Penderie asks for no account, sign-up, email address or phone number. There is no Penderie server: PIXELMORE receives no data from your device.
When you add a piece, you pick a photo from your gallery through the Android photo picker: the app only gets the photo you choose, not the rest of your gallery. Cutting out the garment (removing the background) is computed on the phone. The photo, the cut-out garment, its name, category, status (clean or in the wash), today's worn outfit and your settings are stored only in the app's private storage. They are sent to no one.
The only exception depends on you: if Android backup is turned on, Android may include this data, like that of any app, in your Google account backup, which we cannot access.
Cut-outs use ML Kit, Google's machine learning library, which runs on the device: your photos never leave your phone. The cut-out model is downloaded and updated by Google Play services. As Google states, ML Kit may contact Google servers to receive these updates and to send technical metrics about how it runs (device and app information, performance); these metrics do not contain your photos. See the ML Kit terms and Google's privacy policy.
To suggest an outfit that suits today's weather, Penderie can use your phone's approximate location, if you allow it (on the welcome screen or in Settings; you can turn it off at any time).
If you turn it on in Settings, Penderie shows a daily notification at the time you choose, saying your outfit of the day is ready. It is scheduled on the phone, without any server.
This version contains no ads, no advertising ID, no audience measurement tool (neither Google Analytics nor Firebase), no crash reporting and no third-party tracking library. No data is sold, rented or passed to data brokers.
Distribution through Google Play: for users who have enabled usage and diagnostics sharing on their phone, Google may provide PIXELMORE with aggregated statistics (installs, crashes) in the Play Console. These come from Google Play, not from the app.

Settings → Data → “Delete everything” erases your clothes, photos and outfit history. Uninstalling the app, or Android Settings → Apps → Penderie → Storage → Clear data, also removes your settings. If Android backup is on, a copy may remain in your Google account backup; manage it from your phone's backup settings.
We hold no data that can identify you. Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection; there is nothing to rectify or erase on our side, but you can write to us at the address below. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your country's data protection authority.
Penderie is not directed at children under 13. We collect no data, and therefore none from a child.
If a later version added advertising, this policy would be updated before that version is released, to describe precisely the services involved, the data processed and your choices (including consent). As long as this page does not say so, the app contains none.
Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with a new update date.
