Journal 52 Moments does not collect any personal data. The app runs entirely offline (offline-first). All your photos, captions and settings are stored exclusively on your device, in the app's local Hive database (the app is built with Flutter). The photos you add are copied into the app's private files, on your device only.
The app performs no network communication with our servers or any third-party servers. Your photos and text never leave your phone.
You do not need to create an account to use Journal 52 Moments. We do not ask for an email, name, phone number, or any other identifying information. There is no sign-up, no sign-in, and no cloud service.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising tracking SDKs, no analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.), and no user behavior measurement tools. No third-party component transmits any data from the app.
You stay in full control of your data. You can delete a photo or a week at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app also deletes all the data it has stored (photos, captions and settings).
The app lets you export your journal as a PDF. This export is performed locally on your device. You remain solely in charge of sharing: the file is not transmitted anywhere by the app, and it is up to you to decide whether to share it using your device's own features.
This policy may be updated if the app undergoes major changes. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
