Le Compte y est — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026 · Version 1.0

No data collection

Le Compte y est does not collect any personal data. The app is a mental arithmetic game that requires no account and never identifies the user. Your settings (timer duration, tile draw composition, light/dark theme) and your progress (statistics, best times, daily challenge, day streak) are stored exclusively on your device.

No personal data sent to our servers

The app does not transmit any personal data to our servers or to third parties. No account, no cloud, no synchronization of your information. Puzzles are generated entirely on your device: the game works 100% offline. The only third-party service involved is Google Play, and only if you choose to make the one-time purchase described below.

No account required

You do not need to create an account to use Le Compte y est. We do not ask for an email, name, phone number, or any other identifying information.

No advertising, no tracking

The app contains no advertising, no advertising tracking SDKs, no advertising identifier, no analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.), and no user behavior measurement tools.

One-time purchase via Google Play

The app offers a one-time purchase (no subscription) to unlock the full version. This purchase is handled entirely by Google Play (Google Play Billing): we never see, receive or store any payment data — no card number, no identity, no billing address. The only effect inside the app is a "purchased" flag stored locally on your device, which also lets you recover your purchase after reinstalling. Google's processing of the payment is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

No sensitive permissions requested

The app requests no sensitive Android permission: no location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera, no shared storage. The only permission included is the Google Play billing one (com.android.vending.BILLING), required for the one-time purchase described above.

Local data storage

Your settings and progress are stored locally by the app (built with Flutter) using Hive, a local database kept in a private file the system reserves for the app and which no other app can access. Concretely, it holds:

This data never leaves your device.

Deleting your data

You stay in full control of your data. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all the data it has stored on your device. On Android, you can also use Settings → Apps → Le Compte y est → Storage → Clear data. Your one-time purchase, however, remains attached to your Google Play account and can be restored after reinstalling.

Children

Le Compte y est is aimed at an adult audience and is not specifically directed at children. The game has no player-to-player communication, no advertising, and asks for no personal data, whatever the age of the person playing.

Your rights

We hold no data about you: there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. The only data that exists is what stays on your device, and it is entirely yours to manage. For payment-related data, please contact Google Play, the only party that processes it.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the app undergoes major changes. If a future version were to add anything that collects data, this page would be updated before that version goes live. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
