Cadrans – Wear OS watch faces — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all of the Wear OS watch faces in our collection. Every one of our watch faces follows exactly the same principles described below.

No data collection

Our watch faces do not collect any personal data. A watch face simply displays the time, the date and a few pieces of information on your wrist. It requires no account, never identifies you, and builds no profile. The customization settings you choose on the watch (accent color, style variant) are handled locally by the Wear OS system and stay on your watch.

No data sent — 100% offline

The watch face transmits no data to our servers or to third parties. In fact it has no network capability at all: no account, no cloud, no synchronization, no Internet connection. The watch face works 100% offline, entirely on your watch.

System sensors: read locally, never transmitted

To display its information, the watch face only reads a few local system sensors provided by Wear OS. These values are used solely for real-time display on the watch screen and never leave the device:

• The watch's time and date, to display the time.
• The watch's battery level, to display the battery indicator.
• The day's step count (system pedometer), when the watch face offers a step display.

This information is read locally and displayed locally. It is neither persistently stored by the watch face nor sent anywhere, neither to our servers nor to third parties.

No account required

You do not need to create an account to use our watch faces. We do not ask for an email, name, phone number, or any other identifying information.

No advertising, no tracking

Our watch faces contain no advertising, no advertising tracking SDKs, no advertising identifier (Advertising ID), no analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.), and no user behavior measurement tools.

Deleting your data

Since no data is collected or stored by the watch face beyond your local settings, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the watch face from your watch removes its local settings and takes it off the list of available watch faces.

Children and privacy (COPPA)

Our watch faces are suitable for all ages. In accordance with the U.S. COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and the GDPR, we place particular importance on protecting privacy:

• The watch face does not collect any personal data from any user, and therefore no personal data from children.
• It requests no identifying information (name, email, age, location, etc.).
• It contains no advertising, and therefore no targeted advertising directed at children.
• It includes no tracking or behavior measurement tools.
• System sensors (time, battery, steps) are read locally only and are never kept or transmitted.
